Which standing desk should you choose?
For most home and office work, the single-motor S1 is all you need: it rises to 115 cm, lifts up to 80 kg and suits standing work for users up to 1.9 m tall. If you're tall, work with heavy equipment or want the most stable desk at standing height, choose the dual-motor S2: a 60–125 cm range that suits users up to 2 m tall, up to 120 kg and a 5-year warranty. For a small room or work corner there's the 120×60 Sun. Every model has 3 memory presets, so going from sitting to standing takes a single press.

How long should you stand at a standing desk each day?
Not all day. An international expert panel (British Journal of Sports Medicine, 2015) recommends that office workers gradually build up to two hours of standing and light activity during the workday, and later to four hours. What works is switching positions often for short periods, not standing once for a long stretch.
Here's how to get started without sore legs:
- Week one: 10 minutes of standing every hour
- Add standing time gradually, especially after lunch
- The goal, according to Cornell University: in every half hour, 20 minutes sitting, 8 minutes standing and 2 minutes moving
Mild leg fatigue in the first week is normal. Sharp or persistent pain is a sign to slow down. The desk's memory presets help you stick with it: sitting height on one button, standing height on another.

What height should a standing desk be?
At elbow height: stand up straight with relaxed shoulders and your arms bent at 90 degrees, hands on the keyboard. For a person 1.70 m tall that's about 106 cm, and for someone 1.80 m tall about 113 cm. Set the top of the monitor at eye level or slightly below. Once you've found your height, save it to a memory preset and you'll never need to adjust it again.
Already have a tabletop? Turn it into a standing desk
If you have a sturdy tabletop you love, there's no need to buy a new desk. Just buy the electric frame (the legs and motor), screw your tabletop onto it, and you get a complete electric standing desk with the same memory presets and the same motor warranty.
- S1 single-motor frame: lifts up to 80 kg and fits tabletops 100–180 cm wide
- S2 dual-motor frame: lifts up to 120 kg and fits tabletops up to 2.2 m wide
- L3 three-motor frame: for an L-shaped corner standing desk
Your tabletop should be at least 18 mm thick. No tabletop? Choose a ready-made tabletop in 120×60, 140×70 or 160×80 cm, or order a custom-made one.

Standing desks for home, office and kids
At home, a standing desk lets you work long hours without staying in your chair all day, and the 120×60 Sun fits even a small room or a corner of the living room. At the office, each employee saves their own sitting and standing heights to the memory presets, so even a shared workstation fits everyone at the touch of a button. For kids and students, an adjustable desk grows with the child: just readjust it every year instead of buying a new desk.

What else do you need for a comfortable standing workstation?
The desk is only part of the setup. A few small additions determine how long you'll actually stand:
- Standing mat: standing on tile or hardwood floors gets tiring fast, and an ergonomic mat spreads the load across your feet
- Under-desk walking pad: for those already used to standing, slow walking while you work
- Monitor shelf: raises the screen to eye level so your neck stays straight
- Ergonomic chair: even with a standing desk, you'll spend most of the day sitting

Standing desk, adjustable desk, electric desk: what's the difference?
They're three names for the same product (you'll also see it called a sit-stand desk). "Standing desk" describes the use: working while standing. "Adjustable desk" describes the ability to change height. "Electric desk" describes the mechanism: a motor that lifts the desk instead of a manual crank or gas spring. All of our desks are all three at once: electric height-adjustable standing desks with one or two motors.
